HS-2000-FPMI-24B Flush or Panel Mount Indoor Electronic Horn/Strobe Signal, 24V, Blue
This horn/strobe combo emits high-quality signals intended for use in cUL general signaling applications. The xenon beacons with horns are bright, low current, high decibel, combination signals designed for use where a distinctive visual or audible signal is required. The strobes flash at 1fps across their full operating voltage range.
The strobe and horn can be operated independently. It can be flush mounted, designed to mount in a standard 4″ (102mm) square electrical box with extension ring (total min. depth of 3″ (75mm) not supplied.)
- Flash rate 60 fpm
- 100 dB at 1 meter/90 dB at 10 ft (measured in anechoic chamber)
- Low current draw
- Terminals for easy wiring
- Gray, engineered thermoplastic housing
- Outdoor-rated models available upon request

What is the Eagle Eye Power Solutions HS-2000 used for?
The HS-2000 is a flush-mount horn and strobe designed to provide clear visual and audible alerts in environments where hydrogen gas detection or other critical alarms are required.
Where is the HS-2000 typically installed?
The HS-2000 commonly installed in battery rooms, data centers, telecom facilities, and other critical environments where hydrogen gas sensors like the HGD-4000 or HGD-5000 are in use. The flush-mount design allows for neat wall integration.
Can the HS-2000 be triggered by Eagle Eye Power Solutions H₂ Hydrogen Gas Detectors?
Yes, the HS-2000 is fully compatible with Eagle Eye Power Solution’s H₂ hydrogen gas detection systems. It can be activated via relay output from detectors such as the HGD-4000 or HGD-5000 when hydrogen levels exceed safe thresholds.
What are the power requirements for the HS-2000?
The HS-2000 typically operates on 24VDC power, but specific voltage requirements should be confirmed on the product datasheet to match your application.
Is the strobe light customizable (color or flash rate)?
The standard strobe is red, but alternate colors and flash rates may be available depending on your application or safety code requirements. Contact Eagle Eye Power Solutions for customization options.
Is the Eagle Eye Power Solutions HS-2000 rated for hazardous environments?
While the HS-2000 is designed for industrial safety use, it is not rated as intrinsically safe on its own. It is used in conjunction with intrinsically safe devices (like the HGD-4000) in monitored environments.
How loud is the HS-2000 audible alarm?
The horn produces a high-decibel tone, typically 85–100 dB depending on the mounting and enclosure. This ensures it can be heard clearly over ambient industrial noise.
Can multiple HS-2000 units be networked or triggered at once?
Yes, multiple HS-2000 units can be connected to the same detector output or control panel to provide coverage across larger rooms or facilities.
