HGD-5000-R Repeater (Mimic) Panel
The HGD-5000-R is designed for integration into a Hydrogen gas detection system, supporting up to three HGD-5000 hydrogen gas detectors. You can mount the HGD-5000-R at eye level for easy access, while placing the HGD-5000 detectors 1 foot from the ceiling to effectively monitor hydrogen levels.
Equipped with a manual test button, the HGD-5000-R allows you to verify the detection system's circuitry without needing to reach the ceiling-mounted detectors. It provides clear system status updates, showing hydrogen concentrations, alarm states, and overall system condition.

Product Literature
What is the HGD-5000-R?
The HGD-5000-R is a remote display/controller designed to integrate into a hydrogen gas detection system and support up to three HGD-5000 hydrogen gas detectors. It provides eye-level visibility into concentrations, alarm states, and overall system status.
How many detectors can one HGD-5000-R support?
Up to three HGD-5000 hydrogen gas detectors.
Where should I mount the HGD-5000-R and the detectors?
Mount the HGD-5000-R at eye level for easy access. Install HGD-5000 detectors about 1 foot (≈30 cm) below the ceiling to effectively monitor rising hydrogen.
What does the manual test button do?
It lets you verify the detection system’s circuitry and indicators from the HGD-5000-R without needing to reach the ceiling-mounted detectors.
What information does the HGD-5000-R display?
Real-time hydrogen concentration readings, alarm states, and overall system condition/status.
Is the HGD-5000-R compatible with existing HGD-5000 installations?
Yes. It integrates with and displays the status of up to three HGD-5000 detectors.
Where is the HGD-5000-R typically used?
Battery rooms, UPS rooms, telecom/backup power rooms, and other areas where hydrogen gas may accumulate and require monitoring.
How often should I test the system?
Use the manual test button during routine inspections and per your site’s safety policy or applicable standards.
